I have a small but intimate circle of friends, all of us have had sex with each other at some point in time and we’ve managed to stay platonic perfectly fine.

A lot of people have tried to tell me it’s weird and that sex is something special and intimate, which I do agree with so of course I’d want to be intimate with the people who are special to me. Platonic and romantic intimacy are vastly different but can both include sex. Being romantically intimate with someone is so much more than just having sex with each other and I feel like a lot of people don’t get that.

The only times we’ve had issues is when someone from outside our group had attachment issues and got jealous.
