The pandemic caused a muck for us Hawaii Residents – and through it all I found myself working longer hours without proper compensation nor any type of relief in sight. At a moments notice our Government made it a r requirement to vaccinate.

Fast forward to my first scheduled shot in Kaneohe. I scheduled it so that I could use my leave for the afternoon and not return to work for any unforeseen assignment. I left my Kik on during my drive from town to Kaneohe at approximately 2:00 p.m. I received a Kik message from a married Puerto Rican Friend that we never ever got to connect due to schedules. He saw that I was located in kaneohe due to my SNAP stories and asked if we could meet up. I told him my plans for the vaccine shot – and that I could meet him for a car date.

We made plans to meet at Windward Mall at 2:30 p.m. and he gave me the details of his SUV etc. He also gave me his cell number with instructions to call if I got out before my scheduled time. I obeyed and called him as I made my way to the Mall lot after my shot. He stayed on the phone with me until his SUV pulled right up to my small, compact car. His SUV was roomy and spacious and I was greeted by the perfect dadbod – No shirt, reggae colored surfer shorts with the most amazing Velcro betweeny thing sitting in the driver seat. He greeted me with the normal local greeting – sup baby. I said you tell me Hawn. Lol. He parked outside of this Auto Place and I want to say the Safeway. He put his sunshade up and jumped in the backseat. His tint was lovely and super dark but he used his towel to provide a more secure feel from passersby.
