You’re in a dark room. You can’t see anything. You can’t move. You can’t scream. You can only wait. And then, you feel something touch you.

It’s slimy. It’s wriggling. It’s going up your nose.

It’s a worm.

A giant, writhing worm is squirming its way into your nostrils, and there’s nothing you can do to stop it. You feel it slither its way up into your brain, and then everything goes black.

The next thing you know, you’re awake. You’re in a hospital bed. You have no idea how you got there.

A doctor comes in to talk to you. He tells you that you were in a coma for six months.

He also tells you that during that time, you were completely paralyzed. The only thing that was moving was your eyes.

That’s when you realize that the worm is still inside your head. It’s been there the whole time, feeding off of your brain.

And now it’s time for it to come out.

The doctor tells you that they will have to perform surgery to remove the worm. He also tells you that there’s a chance you might not make it through the surgery.

But you have to try.

The surgery is a success, and you wake up. The first thing you see is the worm, lying dead on the floor.

You did it. You survived.

But then you realize that the worm was never the real monster.

It was the thing that was controlling it.

The thing that was feeding off of your brain.

The thing that is still inside your head.

And it’s hungry.
