Every day I’ll watch you from afar, entirely captivated by your aura. You always start your day off with a three-mile run, and then it’s off to Starbucks, where you usually order a large coffee with light cream, two sugars, and coconut flavor. It usually takes you 10 minutes to get home after your morning coffee, then about 5 minutes to get ready for work, and you’re out the door on your bike. I think tomorrow will be the day that you finally notice me.

I waited in Starbucks for 3 hours until you came walking through the door in all your glory, still exhausted from your run. I made sure that I was the second person In line behind you, I know you felt me back there staring at you, it took everything I had not to touch you, but I know you noticed me.

I had on your favorite dress today, but you didn’t notice because, for the last three days, you haven’t been to any of our usual spots. I hope you understand that you belong to me and only me.

I haven’t been able to sleep in days since the last time I saw you with her. I know she means nothing to you because you’re mine and only mine, and she would never be able to love you the way I can. I’ll give you one more day to come to your senses.

I can’t take seeing you with her anymore. It’s tearing me up inside. I have to make her disappear, it’s the only way I can have you to myself again, but I’ll make sure she looks on the outside the way I feel.

It’s been three days since you’ve last seen her, and I’m so happy that our schedule is back to normal. I’ve missed our three-mile runs together and our morning coffee. I think from here on out; I’ll try to focus on being happy with the routine we have now, but I know one day you’ll notice me.
