Have you ever heard of phantom pains? Those searing, stinging pains that have no visible causes.

I have this theory about them which might explain them. This might sound a little silly, but could be considered.

What if those phantom pains were injuries from versions of you in alternate dimensions?

I know this might sound ridiculous, but thoughts like that can creep up on you when you experience those phantom pains.

I thought about it when I felt a blunt phantom pain on my big toe.

I thought about it when I felt a sharp phantom pain

I thought about it when I felt a blunt phantom pain on my body.

I thought about it when I felt a burning phantom pain on my face.

I thought about it when I felt a blunt phantom pain on my cheek.

As I think about It while I feel a sharp phantom pain on my wrist I wonder:

What if those phantom pains were injuries from versions of you in alternate dimensions?

As the sharp pain on my wrist fades, I hope it’s not true.
