I was sleeping peacefully, dreaming of whatever I don’t really remember now. However, the dream magically changes and I realise I am sleeping in my own bedroom, on my own bed.
I thought it was time to wake up, I was able to open my eye 1/10th of the way before hearing breathing right next to my ear.
The breathing grew louder and deeper. The worst thing is could think coherently, and I remember thinking “how could there be someone next to me , did I not lock the door…” I then heard a soft noise creeping on my ear, that’s when I decided I want to MOVE.
I could not move, I was paralysed. It felt like someone was sitting on my chest, tying me down, holding my head so I can’t turn it. At this point of time I am conscious, semi awake but obviously dreaming. With strong will power and the urge to scream, I forcibly turn my head and wake up.
I decided to go back to sleep in the same comfortable position I was in. The same thing happened again, I felt paralysed, heard louder breathings next to my ear and this time I was able to spot something next to me.
At this point I am petrified. I immediately try to wake up but I am once again paralysed. I try to scream but my voice sounded muffled and muted. I felt as I was existing on another plane. I turn my head again after some will and I wake up terrified.
Sleep paralysis sucks…
