January 24 It finally happened. Victoria said hello to me. I’ve been waiting so long for this. She’s the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen. She’s so smart and kind, too. I could see myself falling in love with her. I’m so excited to see where we can go from here. January 27 She hasn’t spoken to me since the other day, but I know she feels the same way I do. She just might not realize it yet. February 2 I tried to talk to her again today. When I said hi to her, she said she had to get to her next class and left. I thought that was odd because her next class doesn’t start for another 2 and a half hours. Maybe she got confused. February 10 I followed Victoria home today. She lives in an apartment off-campus. I wanted to go in and surprise her, but I’ll be a gentleman and wait until she invites me in. I know she will; it’s only a matter of time. February 13 She finally invited me in today! She left a spare key to her apartment on the doorframe. Who else was that meant for but me? I went into her room and smelled everything I could; she had such an intoxicating aroma. It’s perfect here. February 14 Today is Valentine’s Day. It’s the perfect day for me to confess my love for Victoria. I wrote her a poem and got her some chocolate and flowers. I also decided to give her something very near and dear to me, a piece of me in both body and soul. I left my package on her bed. I hope she loves it. I hope she loves me. February 17 She hasn’t responded to my gift package yet. I put my heart and soul into that! I even put my baby teeth in there! I went back into her apartment to see if she had at least eaten the chocolates, and I found my package in her trash can. Why would she do that? I’m perfect for her! I deserve her! Why can’t she see that?! February 20 I decided I’d confront her today. After she left class I drugged her and brought her back home with me. I tied her to my bed and put a gag over her mouth. I didn’t want to hear her scream, she’s too beautiful for that. I just needed to know why she didn’t love me. She didn’t answer me, she just kept screaming for help. I did the only thing I could at that point and I slit her throat. Seeing all the blood gush out of her made her more beautiful than ever. I just finished burying her. Maybe a beautiful tree will sprout from her grave. I can’t help but laugh to think that this all started with, “hello”.
