Oh hi! Um, yeah, you. Hi. Can you help? Pass the ice? Yep, that one. Thanks. It helps you know. To.. um, help them, I mean. They don't like coming out.

It's the environment you see, tragic really. How they can't get out by themselves. Too much fear. Keeps them trembling, unable to escape their sacks.

The ice helps though, one at a time. Rub it up and down, along their backs and circle around until they go numb.

Maybe one more… Do you mind? Thanks.

The ice melts quickly, you see. It's the heat. The body really ramps up the temperature when it's scared. It's got to hit them hard, you know? The… um, the fear. It's got to be primal. It doesn't matter if it's quick, like a jump scare, or if it builds like a slow burn. It just needs to be there for them to pop up.

It's dripping

Oh, damn, silly me. Can you pass me another ice? Thanks.

After a while, once the heart is still pumping, and the hairs are still standing up, you use the ice to numb them and then you can squeeze them out.

That's gross

I know, well, it's not for everyone. Best you don't look. I find if you squeeze them between your thumb and forefinger, the goosebumps will pop.

What the hell is that?

Who, the tiny person? Oh, that's what they are. Goosebumps I mean. Tiny versions of yourself all sealed up in an embryonic sack. Nice little, wiggling, fear induced versions of our emotions.

I think I'm going to be sick.

That's normal. Um, sorry… can you pass the bucket? Yep, that one on the floor. I like to keep them, you see. It helps. With the fear, you know? The more I get out, the less I'm scared.

I like to scrambled them up with some bacon. Good for the soul. And they have plenty of protein.

Hey! You've got some coming up along your arm. Here… have some ice! Give it a try. You can add them to my bucket if you want?
