We are joined now by Dawn Tan outside The Chocolicious Factory in Tuas Green. Dawn, what can you tell us about this grand new opening and the exciting promotions it is giving out today?

Yes, Mel, it is indeed a very exciting time here at the Chocolicious Factory. As we know for quite some time now, Mr Desmond Qiao, son of the esteemed chocolatier Mr Jasper Qiao, has finally opened the factory and shop to the public after 6 long years of stagnation.

One parent I spoke to is eagerly anticipating today. She is here with her six-year-old son and she fondly remembers the chocolate eggs they used to give out every Easter, and hopes to share the tradition with her son.

You have to come down here and try this, Mel. Please.

Dawn…

Actually, you’re right, Dawn. It does look kind of delicious. Like the chocolate of my childhood.

This is Melissa Goh, CNA. We’ll be back after a short break.
