Hello Reddit, I’ve got a confession to make

I live in a large house and every Halloween kids rush to my door in numbers asking for sweets, I honestly hate kids but I usually give them what I can find to get these annoying brats off my territory

Last Halloween I thought of a plan to end this once and for all, once kids arrived at my house I would take them inside and lock them up in my basement from down to sunrise with my two German Shepards, I make sure to open my basement window so other kids can hear and see them locked up inside suffering, when new kids come asking I ask them politely to come inside but they run away as fast as they can out of fear

The few kids which I had trapped were traumatised once they got out and scarred for life, only one of them had died tho which I still haven’t taken out and luckily his parents never thought to look in my house, until now

Kids have told their stories and I’m now under investigation and I don’t know what to do, was what I did too much?
