Hey all! I’m a new erotica author currently running a survey seeking opinions about language usage in all types of erotica fiction. I’m here hoping to reach a wider demographic so that the results are as insightful as feasible! The survey has ~3.5k responses so far and runs until the end of October 2022. Erotic words and phrases in English tend to fall into one of three categories – too clinical, too silly, or too vulgar. This deep-dive survey tackles words and phrases in all of the above categories in order to discover what language is most preferred by readers. The survey is totally anonymous, NSFW, and includes colorful, lewd, and potentially offensive language. It’s meant for survey takers 18 and up.
