We opened the back doors of the Mercedes to get in only to discover Janelle already in the back seat. “I thought I could sit back here with your man and you could have shotgun.” Janelle said as she pulled my husband into the back with her and I went up front to sit in the passenger seat. “Thanks for giving us a ride!” I said cheerful to Xavier. He looked me up and down and mumbled something under his breath as he put the car in gear. Xavier was honestly the largest, most intimidating man I had ever seen. He was absolutely ripped as his muscles bulged out of the tank top he was wearing. He really wasn’t my type as I have only been with one black person in my life, plus I’m not usually into body builder types.
