The office was quiet as Lila worked late into the night. He looked at her with an intense gaze before walking closer to her. “Because there’s something I need to tell you too, Lila,” he said as he took her hand in his. “I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately, and I can’t deny the way I feel about you anymore. I want you, Lila.”

Lila’s heart felt like it would burst out of her chest. She never wondered this day would come, the moment where he would confess his love for her. “I want you too, more than anything,” she replied as she walked closer to him.
