As soon as the papers were handed back, I knew I had to do something drastic. My grades were slipping, and I needed something to distract myself from studying. My best friend, Sarah, at all times told me not to get caught up in boys during school, but the idea of having a fling seemed too tempting to ignore.

It didn’t take me long to discover someone who caught my eye. Alex was an older student in one of my classes, and he had the sort of charm and confidence that drew me in. He was tall, dark and handsome, with piercing blue eyes that seemed to look right through me. I ran into him at a party one night, and before I knew it, we were talking, laughing and drinking together.

As the night went on, I felt drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Before I knew it, I was pressed up against a wall, his lips pressing against mine. I felt something inside me stir to life, as if all of my senses suddenly became heightened. His hands explored my body, tracing a path along my curves that made me shiver with desire.

Eventually, we stumbled our way back to his apartment, still locked in each other’s embrace. As soon as we were inside, he pushed me up against the wall, pinning me there with his body. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before – his touch was electric, and I could feel my inhibitions melting away under his skilled hands.

We spent the next few weeks together in a whirlwind of passion and lust. Every time we were together, it felt like the world melted away, and it was just the two of us, lost in each other’s embrace. We would skip classes, sneak into empty lecture halls, and make love in the most unexpected places. It was thrilling, and I couldn’t get enough.

But as the weeks went by, something began to change. I started to see him differently – not just as a lover, but as a person. I began to question what we were doing, and whether it was worth all the risks we were taking. I knew that Sarah would disapprove, and that my grades were slipping further and further behind.

One night, as we lay in bed together, my thoughts started to drift away from the physical pleasure we were experiencing. I looked over at Alex, watching as the moonlight illuminated the sharp planes of his face. A feeling of tenderness came over me, and I reached out, tracing my fingers along his lips.

“What’s wrong?” he asked, sensing my unease.

“I don’t know,” I said, shrugging. “It’s just…I don’t know if this can last. I don’t know if it’s worth all the risks we’re taking.”

He pulled me close, kissing me gently on the forehead. “I know it’s hard, but we can keep this between us. No one has to know.”

“But what about after college?” I asked, my voice trembling. “What happens then?”

He looked at me thoughtfully, his eyes flickering with emotion. “I don’t know,” he said slowly. “But right now, all that matters is that we’re together.”

His words sent a thrill through me, and I surrendered myself to the moment once again. We spent the rest of the night tangled up in each other, lost in a world of our own making.

As the weeks went by, our relationship became more and more intense. We were like two magnets, constantly drawn together by an invisible force. We talked about everything, from our hopes and dreams to our fears and insecurities. It was like he saw into the very core of my being, and there was nothing I could hide from him.

Eventually, the semester ended, and we went our separate methods. It was like waking up from a dream, as if a fog had cleared from my mind. I realized that I was in love with him, and that my feelings for him went far beyond lust or physical desire.

Over the summer, we emailed and called each other constantly, talking about everything under the sun. It felt like we were still close, even though we were separated by hundreds of miles.

When we returned to school in the fall, we continued to see each other, but it was different this time. We went on real dates, and we spent time together outside of the bedroom. Alex had graduated by then, and he was looking for a job in the city. I knew that things would be different soon – he would be leaving, and I would be left behind.

That night, as we lay in bed together, I felt a sense of sadness creeping over me. I knew that our time together was limited, and that I was gonna miss him terribly.

“What are you thinking about?” he asked, sensing my mood.

“Nothing,” I said quickly, trying to stifle my emotions. “Just…thinking about the future, I guess.”

He took my hand, lacing his fingers through mine. “I know we can’t be together forever,” he said softly. “But right now, let’s just enjoy each other. Let’s make the most of the time we have.”

Those words sent a shiver down my spine, and I realized that he was right. We couldn’t predict the future, but we could live in the present, and savor every moment we had together.

Over the next few months, our relationship deepened further. We talked about everything, from our plans for the future to our deepest fears and insecurities. I felt as if I had found my soulmate, and I knew that I never wanted to let him go.

But eventually, the time came when he had to say goodbye. He had found a job in the city, and he had to leave school behind. We spent our last night together in tearful silence, as if words were not enough to express what we were feeling.

As he held me close, I felt a bittersweet sense of happiness and sadness. I knew that I would at all times love him, and that he would at all times hold a special place in my heart.

Years went by, and our lives took us in different directions. I graduated from school, got a job, and started a family. But I never forgot about Alex, and I at all times thought what had happened to him.

One day, out of the blue, I received an email from him. It was a brief message, filled with nostalgia and longing. He told me that he had never forgotten me, and that he at all times wondered about the time we spent together.

For a moment, I was transported back in time, to that magical time when we were young and in love. I realized that no matter how much time had passed, my feelings for him had never faded – they had only grown stronger with time.

As I sat there, savoring the memories of our time together, I knew that he would at all times hold a special place in my heart. Our love might have been taboo, but it was real, and it was unforgettable. And that was all that mattered.
