Chapter 01: Emily met Jesse at a Vietnam War protest

EXT. STREET IN L.A. – DAY

A crowd of hippies marches down the street, carrying signs that read “Make Love Not War” and “End the War Now.” Among them is Jesse, a scruffy-looking guy with long hair and a tie-dye shirt, and Emily, a stunningly gorgeous young woman with a heart-shaped face, with high cheekbones and a small, slightly upturned nose. She has full lips that are often painted with bright red lipstick, which contrasts with her sun-kissed skin. Emily’s eyes are almond-shaped and a deep brown, with long, thick lashes that curl upwards. Her hair is long and wavy, falling in chestnut brown tresses down her back.

Emily’s body is curvy and hourglass-shaped, with full breasts and a small waist. She is tall and slender, with long legs that are accentuated by the platform sandals she is wearing. She was wearing a light blue sundress that hugged her curves in all the right places, with a plunging neckline that revealed just a hint of cleavage. Her platform sandals elevated her already impressive height, making her stand out in the crowd.

Jesse couldn’t take his eyes off of her. He was captivated by her beauty, and the way she carried herself with such confidence and grace. He felt drawn to her, like a moth to a flame.

As fate would have it, they found themselves standing next to each other during the protest. Emily noticed Jesse’s messy, curly hair that fell just above his shoulders. He was wearing a faded Rolling Stones t-shirt and a pair of well-worn Levi’s, which made him look effortlessly cool.

Emily had just moved to town a few months ago, but she was already out and about, attending a protest. As she marched with the crowd, she caught the eye of Jesse, who sidled up to her and struck up a conversation.

“Hey, you’re new around here, right?” he asked.

Emily smiled. “Yeah, just moved here a few months ago. I couldn’t miss this protest though.”

“I can tell,” Jesse said with a smirk. “You look too good to be a real protester.”

Emily raised an eyebrow. “Excuse me? What’s that supposed to mean?”

Jesse laughed. “Relax, I’m just teasing you. I’m Jesse, by the way.”

“Nice to meet you, Jesse. I’m Emily,” she said, shaking his hand.

As they walked, they complimented each other’s signs and struck up a conversation about their passions. Emily was a journalist who believed in the power of the press to hold those in power accountable. Jesse was a guitar teacher who loved rock and roll. Emily asked him if he could teach her how to play the guitar sometime, and Jesse grinned and said, “Sure thing. We can jam together.”

As they continued to talk, Emily noticed the way Jesse looked at her, as if he was drawn to her. She felt the same way, and they continued to walk together, staying close to each other.

“What inspired you to become a journalist?” Jesse asked.

“Well, I’ve always been curious about the world around me,” Emily said thoughtfully. “I believe that it’s important to shine a light on the issues that matter, to give a voice to the voiceless, and to hold those in power accountable for their actions.”

Jesse nodded. “Yeah, I totally agree with you. It’s easy to feel helpless in the face of all the injustice in the world, but it’s important to keep fighting.”

“That’s right,” Emily said firmly. “We can’t give up. We have to keep marching, keep protesting, and keep speaking out until we see the change we want to see in the world.”

As they talked, they noticed the police officers getting closer. “Looks like the cops are getting antsy,” Emily said, noticing the commotion.

“Don’t worry, Jesse, I’ve got this,” she said, walking towards the police.

Jesse looked worried. “Emily, wait, it’s not safe!”

“It’s never safe when you’re standing up for what’s right,” Emily said fearlessly, facing the police.

“What do you want?” she asked.

“You’re obstructing traffic and disturbing the peace,” the police officer said gruffly. “You need to leave now.”

“We have a right to peaceful protest, and we’re not going anywhere,” Emily said firmly.

“Yeah, we’re not going anywhere!” Jesse chimed in, joining Emily.

“You’re all under arrest!” the police officer said, getting more aggressive.

“You can’t arrest us for exercising our rights!” Emily said defiantly.

The police officers started to move forward, but Emily and the other protesters stood their ground. After a tense moment, the police decided to back off, and the protest continued.

“I can’t believe you stood up to those cops like that,” Jesse said, looking at Emily with admiration. “You’re amazing.”

“It’s just part of the job,” Emily said with a smile. “I’m a journalist, remember? Standing up for the truth is what I do.”

Jesse chuckled nervously. “Yeah, I’m not really good with authority figures. But you were amazing.”

“I think it’s kind of cute, Jesse,” Emily said with a giggle. “You don’t have to pretend to be tough all the time.”

Jesse and Emily walked together, side by side, as the protest slowly came to an end. Jesse couldn’t help but feel a mixture of surprise and appreciation as he looked at Emily. With her, he felt like he could be himself without the need to put on a façade.

“You know, Emily,” Jesse said with a smile, “I think you might be the most interesting person I’ve met in a long time.”

Emily blushed, a smile spreading across her face. “You’re not so bad yourself, Jesse,” she replied.

The two of them continued to walk, talking and laughing, lost in each other’s business. As they strolled along, Emily turned to Jesse and said, “You know, Jesse, I had a great time with you today.”

Jesse’s smile grew wider. “Me too, Emily. It was amazing.”

Emily looked at Jesse, a hint of nervousness in her eyes. “I have to confess something to you,” she said.

Jesse’s eyebrows rose in surprise. “Really?”

Emily nodded. “Yeah. And I don’t want to wait anymore, but…dont over think it!” With that, she leaned in and gave Jesse a quick but passionate kiss on the lips.

Jesse was stunned but pleased, his mind racing. “Wow,” he said, barely able to form words.

Emily smiled. “I hope you don’t mind. I just had to do that.”

Jesse shook his head. “No, I don’t mind at all. In fact, I was hoping you’d do that.”

Emily laughed. “Well, good. And, uh, here’s my number.” She took a small card and handed it to Jesse. “Call me, if you want, of course.”

Jesse grinned as he took the card. “Of course. I definitely want to see you again.”

Emily’s smile widened. “Great. I can’t wait.” With that, the two of them said their goodbyes, Jesse’s mind already racing with thoughts of their next meeting.

They walk to the end of the protest together, holding hands and talking excitedly about their plans for the future. As they part methods, Emily watches Jesse walk off, feeling a sense of joy and excitement she hasn’t felt in a long time. Jesse walks away with a gigantic grin on his face, feeling like the luckiest guy in the world. He cannot believe how much he has in common with Emily. As he turns around to catch one last glimpse of her, he knows he’s looking forward to their next date.

Chapter 02: The first date

Jesse sat in his small apartment, his fingers nervously twirling the phone cord. He knew what he wanted to do, but the fear of rejection kept him from dialing the number he had memorized. After several minutes of hesitation, he finally mustered the courage to call Emily.

“Hello?” Emily’s voice answered on the other end of the line.

“Hi Emily, it’s Jesse,” he replied, his voice slightly shaking.

“Hi Jesse, how are you?” Emily asked warmly.

“I’m good, thanks,” Jesse said, taking a deep breath. “Listen, I was wondering if you’re free this weekend. I was thinking we could go out.”

Emily’s voice took on an excited tone. “That sounds great! What do you have in mind?”

Jesse hesitated for a moment before replying. “Well, I was thinking we could go to a concert or something.”

Emily’s disappointment was evident in her voice. “Oh. That sounds nice, but I was actually thinking we could go to a drive-in movie theater and watch ‘Hello, Dolly!'”

Jesse was surprised by her suggestion. ” ‘Hello, Dolly!’? I didn’t realize you were a fan of musicals.”

Emily laughed. “Yeah, I love them. And there’s something special about watching a movie under the stars.”

Jesse nodded, understanding her perspective. “I see. Well, that sounds like fun, but I have to be honest with you, I don’t have a car.”

Emily was undeterred by this setback. “That’s okay, we can take mine.”

Jesse was grateful for her flexibility. “Are you sure? I don’t want to inconvenience you.”

Emily’s smile could be heard through the phone. “It’s not an inconvenience. I’ll pick you up at 7.”

Jesse couldn’t contain his excitement. “Great, I can’t wait.”

Emily giggled. “Me too. See you then, Jesse.”

Jesse hung up the phone, feeling a wave of gratitude wash over him. He couldn’t believe his luck. Not only was Emily interested in spending time with him, but she was also eager to accommodate his lack of transportation. He looked forward to their date at the drive-in movie theater and the possibility of getting to know Emily better.

EXT. LOS ANGELES STREET – NIGHT

Emily drives down the street in her brand new 1968 Ford Galaxie convertible. She looks gorgeous, dressed in a white blouse, high waisted blue jeans, and a light brown suede jacket. Jesse is waiting outside of his apartment building, dressed in a black turtleneck, brown corduroy pants, and a denim jacket. He looks a bit nervous, but also excited.

As Emily pulled up to Jesse’s house, she honked the horn, and he hurried to the car, greeted by her warm smile.

“Hey there, Jesse. You ready for a fun night?” Emily asked.

“Yeah, I am. Thanks for picking me up,” Jesse replied with a smile.

Laughing, Emily said, “No problem. My parents gave me this car, so I have to show it off, right?”

Impressed by the gorgeous car, Jesse said, “Wow, this is a beautiful car. You’re lucky to have it.”

“Thanks, I know. Hop in, let’s go,” Emily said with a smile.

As Jesse settled into the passenger seat, Emily drove off into the night, with the wind blowing through their hair. They chatted and laughed as they drove towards the drive-in theater.

“You know, I’ve always wanted to come to this drive-in theater. I think it’s so romantic,” Emily said excitedly.

“Yeah, it’s definitely different. I haven’t been to one in a long time,” Jesse replied with a smile.

“Well, I hope you’re ready for some fun,” Emily giggled.

Chuckling, Jesse said, “I am. As long as the movie is good.”

Emily glanced at Jesse, noticing his nervousness, and took his hand in hers. “Don’t worry, Jesse. I promise we’ll have a great time.”

As they arrived at the drive-in, they parked the car and made their way to the concession stand. Emily ordered a large bucket of popcorn, two sodas, and some candy. As they walked towards their car, Jesse saw a group of tough-looking guys hanging around in the shadows.

“Emily, I don’t think we should be here. Those guys look dangerous,” Jesse said nervously.

“It’s okay, Jesse. We’ll be fine. Just relax and enjoy the movie,” Emily reassured him with a smile.

Taking a deep breath and nodding, Jesse said, “Okay, you’re right. I’m sorry, I’m just a little nervous.”

“It’s okay, Jesse. You don’t have to be nervous around me,” Emily said with a smile.

Emily took the opportunity to snuggle up to Jesse, placing her head on his shoulder.

“Um, Emily, what are you doing?” Jesse asked, blushing.

“Just getting comfortable. Is that okay with you?” Emily giggled.

“Um, yeah. That’s fine,” Jesse said nervously.

As the movie started, Jesse couldn’t help but feel a little uneasy. He had been only a couple of times to a drive-in theater before, and the environment seemed strange to him. However, Emily seemed to be enjoying herself, so he tried to relax and enjoy the movie.

Another car pulled up beside them, and the driver started revving the engine loudly. A group of guys inside, all wearing leather jackets and looking tough.

“Look at that dude with the long hair. He’s probably a fag. What do you say, sweetheart? You want a real man, don’t you? What the hell are you doing here? This is our turf, hippies!” the guy in the other car shouted.

Jesse started to feel nervous, but Emily seemed unfazed. “Just ignore them,” she said calmly.

Jesse tried to focus on the movie, but he couldn’t shake off the feeling of unease. He glanced at Emily, who seemed completely absorbed in the movie. He took a deep breath and tried to relax, telling himself that everything was gonna be okay.

The guys continued to taunt them, calling Jesse names and making fun of him. Jesse felt embarrassed and ashamed that he couldn’t defend himself, but Emily wasn’t having any of it.

Rolling down her window, she stood up to confront the man in the other car. “Hey, you! You better shut your mouth right now, or I’m going to come over there and shut it for you!” she yelled angrily.

The man looked taken aback, not expecting a woman to stand up to him like this. “You know what? I think you guys are just jealous because you don’t have the balls to be who you really are. You’re so scared of being labeled gay that you have to act like a bunch of insecure macho assholes,” she continued.

The guy retreated, intimidated by Emily’s confidence and strength. “Don’t worry about him. He’s not worth our time,” she said to Jesse, who looked at her with admiration.

“Emily, I don’t know how you do it. You’re amazing,” he said, feeling a mix of embarrassment and awe at her ability to stand up for herself and for him.

“It’s no big deal. I just don’t like bullies,” she replied, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze.

As the movie continued, Emily couldn’t help but think about Jesse’s reaction to the confrontation. She appreciated how he didn’t try to assert himself as the alpha male and instead let her take the lead. She had all the time been attracted to more traditional guys who exuded confidence and dominance, but Jesse’s willingness to let her take charge was refreshing. It made her feel respected and valued for her own abilities, rather than just her looks or feminine wiles.

She stole a glance at him and saw that he was still looking a little embarrassed about the situation. She smiled at him and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. “Relax, okey?. You did great,” she said, feeling content.

“Thanks,” Jesse replied with a grateful smile. “I mean.. thanks for coming tonight. I’m having a great time.”

“Me too. I’m glad we came to the drive-in,” Emily said, enjoying the warm summer night.

“I can’t deny the attraction I feel,” Emily confessed, leaning over to kiss Jesse on the cheek. “For now, I’m content to enjoy the company of a sweet, caring man who isn’t afraid to let me take charge”.

As they watched the movie, their hands intertwined, Jesse felt a growing warmth inside him. He turned to Emily, gazing deeply into her eyes, and before he knew it, they were kissing passionately. The film continued to play on the screen, the sounds of the musical numbers blending with their tender embraces.

Jesse’s heart raced as he felt Emily’s soft lips against his own. He wrapped his arms around her, drawing her closer to him, and she responded eagerly. It was as if they were the only two people in the world, lost in a moment of pure bliss.

The movie continued to play, but they hardly noticed it. All that mattered was the sensation of each other’s touch, the taste of each other’s lips, the warmth of each other’s embrace. For that brief moment, they were lost in each other, and nothing else mattered.

The windows were fogged up, and they were lost in the moment until Emily abruptly pulled away from the kiss and turned to Jesse.

“Jesse,” she said breathlessly, “I know a place where we can go to get a great view of the city. It’s secluded, and no one will be there.”

Jesse’s heart raced with excitement. “Really? Where is it?” he asked.

“It’s not far from here. Just a short drive,” Emily replied, her smile lighting up her face. “Do you want to go?”

“Of course I do!” Jesse exclaimed.

Emily started the car, and they drove off into the night. The drive was short, and soon they arrived at a deserted hilltop overlooking the city. The view was breathtaking, and Emily gazed out at the city in awe.

“Isn’t it beautiful?” she asked.

“It’s amazing,” Jesse agreed, taking in the view.

“I’m glad you like it,” Emily said, turning to Jesse. “I wanted to show you something special.”

Jesse smiled at her. “You always seem to know how to make things special.”

Emily blushed at the compliment. “Thank you,” she said softly.

They sat in silence for a moment, just taking in the view. Then Emily took Jesse’s hand.

“Jesse, there’s something I have to tell you,” she said, her voice serious.

“What is it?” Jesse asked, concern etched on his face.

“I know we’ve only known each other for a short time, but I feel like I’ve known you forever,” Emily began. “You’re different from any other guy I’ve ever met. You’re sweet, kind, and you don’t try to act like someone you’re not. And I really like that about you.”

Jesse smiled at her. “Emily, I feel the same way. I know we haven’t known each other long, but I feel like I can be myself around you. And that’s something I haven’t felt with anyone else.”

They looked at each other for a moment, lost in each other’s eyes. Then they kissed again, more passionately than before.

“Do you trust me, Jesse?” Emily asked, breaking the kiss.

Jesse looked a bit nervous but nodded. “Uh, yeah, of course.”

Emily slowly started to undress herself, revealing her toned body. Jesse’s eyes widened as he watched her with a mix of awe and nervousness.

Emily whispered in Jesse’s ear, “Then relax, baby. Let me take care of you.” She leaned in and kissed him deeply, her hands exploring every inch of his body, sending electric sensations through him.

As Emily continued to pleasure Jesse, she whispered, “You’re so beautiful.” Jesse smiled with his eyes still closed in pleasure, responding breathlessly, “So are you.”

Emily’s confidence shone through her grin as she teasingly said, “I want you, Jesse. All of you.” They kissed passionately, lost in the moment, while Emily explored Jesse’s body, taking her time to savor every sensation.

Emily slowly unbuckled Jesse’s pants and pulled them down to reveal his boxers. Her eyes lit up as she took in his form and teasingly said, “Oh my, what do we have here?” Jesse blushed and looked away, but Emily gently took his chin and turned his face towards her, saying with a smile, “Don’t be shy. I want to see all of you.”
