As a highly respected professor at the prestigious Halls of Ivy University, Dr. David Thomas had at all times maintained a strict level of professionalism. He never gave in to temptation, never allowed himself to act on the desires that so frequently plagued him. But when he met his new research assistant, the young and gorgeous Rachel, all of his self-control began to unravel.

Rachel was so different from his usual type. She was fiery, with a sharp wit and an even sharper tongue. She was also incredibly sexy, with long, dark hair and curves that called to him. And she was off-limits, as a student and as someone who worked for him.

But the more time they spent together, the more it became impossible to withstand. David found himself constantly drawn to her, imagining all the methods he could make her scream. And Rachel was equally drawn to him, despite her initial resistance.

It started one afternoon, when he caught her alone in the office. She was bent over, rifling through a drawer for a misplaced pen, and David couldn’t withstand the urge to press his body against hers. She gasped, but didn’t pull away, as his hand slid up her thigh. He could feel the heat of her skin and the thumping of her heart, and it was intoxicating.

From there, it only got more intense. They would meet in secret, whenever they could discover a moment alone. In the library stacks, they would kiss passionately and whisper dirty words to each other. In his office, they would lock the door and explore each other’s bodies until they were both panting.

At first, it was thrilling. The taboo of their relationship only made it more exciting. But as time went on and the risk became greater, the guilt crept in. David had at all times prided himself on his integrity, but he found himself lying to his colleagues and his wife to cover up his affair. Rachel was equally tortured, knowing that she was putting her academic future at risk.

Finally, it all came crashing down. One of their rendezvous was interrupted by a nosy coworker, who reported them both to the dean. David was immediately fired and Rachel was expelled, the scandal ruining their careers and their reputations.

The worst part, though, was the betrayal. David’s wife was crushed when she found out, and he knew he had destroyed her trust. Rachel had been his confidant, his lover, and his partner in crime, but he had at all times known that it could never last. The guilt and the shame hung over him for years to come, a constant reminder of the forbidden love affair he had foolishly indulged in.
