As soon as we locked eyes in the cramped confines of the office elevator, I knew that we were headed for trouble. She was my boss, a beautiful woman with dark hair that cascaded down her back like a waterfall. Her eyes were dark and mysterious, and they held a burning intensity that left me breathless.

The doors closed behind us with a soft chime, and I felt the heat between us rise. We stood side by side, our shoulders brushing, and I could feel the electricity crackling in the air. I cast a surreptitious glance in her direction and saw that she was staring straight ahead, apparently lost in wondered.

I couldn’t help myself. I reached out and touched her arm, just lightly, and she turned to look at me. Her eyes flashed with something that looked like anger, but when I opened my mouth to apologize, she cut me off.

“Meet me in my office,” she whispered, and then stepped out of the elevator and walked away.

I followed her down the corridor, my heart pounding in my chest. When I reached her door, she was already inside, sitting behind her desk with a look of pure intensity on her face.

She didn’t say a word, just motioned for me to come closer. I did, until I was standing just a few feet away from her.

“Do you know what you’re doing?” she hissed, her eyes flashing with anger and something else I couldn’t quite identify.

“I don’t care,” I replied, my voice husky with desire.

And then she was on me, her hands pulling me closer, her mouth hungrily devouring mine. I found myself lost in a sensual haze, completely lost in the moment. We kissed and touched each other with an abandon that was both thrilling and terrifying.

I don’t know how long we were in there, locked in our embrace. All I knew was that I never wanted it to end. When we finally broke aside, gasping for breath, she looked at me with a mixture of desire and guilt.

“We can’t do this,” she whispered, her voice strained.

“But we already have,” I replied, a smile playing at the corners of my mouth.

And then we were back at our desks, acting as if nothing had happened. But between us, there was a new understanding, a tantalizing spark that would keep us coming back to each other again and again, no matter what the consequences might be.
