As soon as she walked into the office that day, Jenna could feel the burning desire building inside of her. It had been simmering under the surface for weeks now, but today it felt like it could ignite into a full-blown flame at any second.

The object of her desire was her boss, a man she knew she had no company being attracted to. He was older, married, and in a position of power over her. But none of that seemed to matter anymore. Every time he walked into a room, every time he spoke to her, every time she saw him smile, she felt like she was on fire.

She tried to focus on her work, but her mind kept wandering to him. She imagined what it would be like to feel his hands on her body, to taste his lips, to be consumed by his passion. It was a dangerous fantasy, one she knew could never be fulfilled, but Jenna couldn’t help herself.

As the day wore on, the tension between them seemed to grow. She caught him staring at her more than once, and each time she felt a jolt of electricity shoot through her body. She thought if he could feel it too, if he knew what was going on inside of her.

At the end of the day, as she was packing up her things, he walked into her office. Jenna’s heart leapt into her throat as he closed the door behind him.

“We need to talk,” he said, his voice low and serious.

Jenna’s mind raced. This was it – they were gonna address the elephant in the room. She tried to stay calm as she looked up at him, waiting for him to speak.

“I know that there’s something between us,” he said, his eyes locked onto hers. “And I can’t deny that I feel it too.”

Jenna’s heart skipped a beat. She had never dared to believe that he might feel the same way about her.

“But we can’t act on it,” he continued. “It’s not appropriate, it’s not ethical, and it could cost us both our jobs.”

His words were like a bucket of cold water dumped over Jenna’s head. She felt the flames of desire bank down to embers, replaced by a deep sense of disappointment.

“I understand,” she said, trying to keep her voice steady. “I’ll do everything I can to keep things professional.”

They both stood there, looking at each other, their emotions swirling beneath the surface.

“But I can’t stop thinking about you,” he said, his voice barely more than a whisper. “I want you, Jenna. I want you so badly it hurts.”

Jenna felt the heat of desire flare up again, stronger than ever. She looked into his eyes and saw the same hunger there that she was feeling. It was as though they were speaking a secret language, one that only they understood.

Before she knew what she was doing, Jenna was on her feet, moving towards him. He met her halfway, and they crashed into each other with a force that was both exhilarating and terrifying.

Their lips met, and the kiss was like a match struck in the darkness. It was a flame that engulfed them both, leaving them gasping for air. They broke aside, panting and wide-eyed.

“We can’t do this,” he said, even as his hands were moving over her body. “We can’t.”

But Jenna wasn’t listening. She was consumed by the fire that was burning inside of her, a fire that she knew only he could extinguish.

They fell onto the couch, and their clothes were off before she even knew what had happened. He was touching her, kissing her, and she was lost in the sensation of it. She felt like she was flying, like she was free from all the restrictions of the world.

They moved together, and it was like they had been made for each other. Jenna had never felt so alive, so connected to another human being. It was as though they were sharing the same breath, the same heartbeat.

When it was over, she lay there, spent and satisfied. But even in the afterglow, she knew that there was a price to pay. They couldn’t keep this up – sooner or later, they were gonna get caught.

“I have to go,” he said, getting to his feet.

Jenna watched as he dressed, her heart aching with a mixture of desire, guilt, and sadness.

“Please don’t leave,” she said, but she knew it was useless. He had to go, they both did.

“I’ll call you,” he said, before he walked out the door.

Jenna sat there, alone in her office, feeling like something had been ripped out of her. She knew that this was just the beginning, that the fire they had set would burn out of control and consume them both. But right now, all she could think about was the feeling of his hands on her body, the taste of his mouth, and the burning desire that she knew would never be satisfied.
