Note: This is my first story here, and unedited by anyone else, so if there’s any issues, please don’t be afraid to tell me and I’ll be sure to use those critiques in another story I make in the future.

The day begins with a cloudy forecast with a soft beam of sunlight peeking through the blinded windows of Alex’s room in his apartment’s bedroom. The clock in his room is flashing on and off, a power outage had happened during the night, leaving him unaware of what time it really was until he wakes up. Eventually the beam becomes strong and thick enough to cause Alex to wake up, noticing the flashing clock.

“Crap, guess the storm last night was actually quite strong then.” He says to himself before checking his phone to reset it, but finds out what time it was — 11am. Alex utters out “OH SHIT!” as he rushes to get ready, as he has now accidentally woken up late for work, seeing the texts from his boss collapsed, alongside missed phone calls, collapsed as well on his lock screen.

“Charlotte’s going to kill me this time. I’m two hours late, and it was the busiest day at the office too.”

As he gets ready, brushing his teeth, showering, eating a burnt and crunchy plate of toasted bread with peanut butter and jam spread on it, the worry in his stomach and mind keeps on accelerating as he is becoming more anxious of how his boss Charlotte will react to his tardiness today. But alas, he can only stress so much, as he gets his belongings together and gets to his car for the twenty-minute drive to his office building for his day at work, even if it’s now inadvertently a five-hour shift, rather than an eight.

“Alex, get in my office immediately…” Charlotte barks at Alex as he gets into the office, and walks back sternly to her office, leaving the door open. Alex follows, knowing he’s about to be chewed out by his boss.

“Alex, what the hell caused you to be late this morning, I told you we needed you this morning, and you just no show. You knew we were going to be slammed, and you just leave us to dry.”

“Charlotte, I didn’t mean to do this okay? A damn storm hit my apartment and killed my alarm clock during the night, and for whatever reason my phone was on silent. I usually wake up at 5. I don’t party, I don’t smoke, drink, nothing.”

“Alex, there was no storm last night, what the hell are you talking about? It was a clear sky throughout the night.”

“Then why the hell was my apartment affected?” Alex pulls out his phone, as he had taken the time to take pictures of his apartment, everything was off, and his battery was at only 53%, due to all the phone calls and texts he had gotten.

“Look Alex, I have no reason to even humour this” She skims through the pictures regardless, and notes the breaker box in the apartment had no breakers blown on it “Did you turn the breakers back on when you were taking pictures?”

“No, wait… I didn’t even realize that the breakers were all on, I though they were all off.”

“Okay Alex, I don’t have time to be your caretaker, let alone someone to be listening to your stupid stories of your life. Just get out of my office and get to work, and stay until 8 tonight. Dismissed.” Charlotte kicks him out of her office, and he gets settled at his cubicle to get started on his now 12-8 shift.

Eventually he finishes the shift, and leaves the office, heading home. As he enters his apartment, he notices all the lights on in his place.

“weird… very weird.” He paces around the apartment, looking for any sign of life that could have gotten itself into his apartment without breaking in, only to find that no windows were broken, no damage to the place, and nothing stolen. “Did I leave the switch on?” He begins to question himself, continuing on until he goes to bed for the night, hoping that all of this was an elaborate nightmare in his head.

During the night, the power surges once again in his apartment, though it was much louder than the previous night, causing Alex to awaken from his sleep. The time is 2:40am, and he quietly gets up from his bed, to try and see who is causing this disturbance. He peruses the apartment and begins to think that he’s insane for thinking that someone is tormenting him, until he feels a cool breeze behind him.

“Go to sleep, little one.” Is all he hears before he drops to the floor and is forced back to sleep, and as if nothing had happened the night before, he was back in his bed, power perfectly normal, and he wakes up at 6am. He returns back to his normal routine for the day, and goes to work on time.

“Morning, Charlotte”

“Guess you got the memo to not fuck around again, Alex?”

“Yeah… except I feel I have a home invader in my house. Do we, uh, have any security cameras in the back that I can take home to set up for the night?”

“I mean, we do… but back up, you think you have a home invader? That’s a pretty strong assumption to make, but I’ll leave them with you when I leave, along with some instructions on how to set them up, and monitor them.”

“Thanks Charlotte.”

The day goes by, and as the day comes to an end, Charlotte leaves the security cameras with Alex, and he goes back home, immediately setting them up, and going to sleep, hoping that they capture his mysterious invader before he loses his sanity, or life.

2:40am strikes once more, and the power surges again, almost on cue that this always happened at this exact time. The invader was once again quite loud.

“Showtime… please don’t fuck up on me now, cameras.” Alex gets up, and looks at his phone, trying to load the camera software, only to see nothing, but a shadow floating around before he hears his door open, leaving him completely vulnerable to whoever is in his home.

“Go to sleep, little one” The invader says once again, almost the same way; however, they miss whatever attack they used the night before.

“Who are you, and why are you in my home” Alex grabs his knife off of his nightstand

“Cute.” The invader picks him up and knocks him out immediately, however when he wakes up, he’s somewhere completely different and unknown.

“What… happened…?”

He’s all alone in this room, or wherever he is, and realizes he has his hands strapped to his sides. “Shit. I’m kidnapped and held captive by some entity. Fun…”

The door to this room roughly opens and two figures enter, unobstructed from his view, both are tall, 6 feet tall minimum, and are extremely busty, wearing tight latex outfits and staring him down. “Hello boy, seems you were a problem last night hmm?~” the figure on the left seems to be in charge, and is extremely smug and cocky. “Be good, and no one gets hurt here, unless you want to anger us and get yourself harmed.” They both approach, revealing more of their features. The one on the left appears to have blonde hair, and is taller than the other girl, and has some sort of weapon on her waist. The other girl is brown haired, and looks to have a bottle of sort in her hand.

“Why am I here? What do you want from me, and why me?” Alex asks with fear in his voice now.

“Oh, you want to know why you’re here with us? Hmm… no.” Some sort of blindfold is placed over his eyes, and headphones are put on him as well, completely deafening and blinding him. “H-HEY, I DON’T WANT TO BE HURT, JUST TELL ME WHAT’S HAPPENING, PLEASE.” His pleads are met with empty ears, except for a faint sensation crawling onto him. “Please… Please don’t hurt me…” The figures take the blindfold off of him, revealing him to a well-furnished room, with a large bed in it. “You aren’t going to be hurt, but you are not retuning to your old life any time soon, little one.” The blonde woman is carrying him in her arms, which is weird, considering Alex isn’t the shortest person, however he’s not the tallest.

“…what are your names?” Alex asks the blonde woman.

“My name is Claire; the other’s name is Amber. She’s also the one who brought you here, ‘Alex’.”

“How do you know my name?”

“Your name was well known, your phone records showed this, from that ‘Charlotte’ person who you had listed as ‘Charlotte — Boss’. She seems to be your manager of sorts?”

“y-yes… but please don’t hurt her, she has nothing to do with this.”

“She’s not our target. You are.”

“W-what…? Are you police officers? I-I didn’t do anything!”

Claire simply covers his mouth with her hand, and she sets him on the bed. “You wished for a better life, Free of societal obligations, and you will get such. You are going to live here, with us.” The lights turn on, and he sees that the outside environment is completely different to the bustling city he used to live in. Now, it seems to be a rather luxurious area of the city?

“Live… with you? But I was fine with living how I was. Even though I was alone there.” Alex admits the last part with a bit of apprehension.

“So you’d give up the opportunity of living Free of obligations, and with two women like us? We both know you’re not the type to give up opportunities lightly.” She pinches his cheek and looks him in the eyes. “You want this, you were in a dead-end office job, and you were scared you’d live alone in that apartment forever. Here you’ll live in peace, Free of those liabilities, so long as you accept our terms.”

“W… What terms?”

“Live here with us, and agree to be our ‘pet’ of sorts…” As Claire finishes the last part, Alex sees Amber come in with a collar and leash in her hands, but drops them next to him on the bed, teasing the idea into his head more. “You won’t be hurt, but you’ll be given a new way of living. What do you say? Free room and board, for a little bit of moral degradation?”

“I can’t accept something that sounds so stupid and… inhumane! Like, who willingly chooses to give up their rights?! I’m not a pet, I’m not your toy, or whatever you want me to become.” Alex rejects profusely this proposition that the two women in front of him have offered him. “I want to go back home… I don’t want to be a part of your sick games or ritual, okay? I’m scared of you right now.”

“You’re barely scraping by, and your ‘search history’ shows some rather interesting things you enj-“

Alex immediately cuts her off. “KEEP THAT STUFF OUT OF THIS”

“oh my, how feisty… Amber, please make him comfortable for the time being, I’m going to figure out how to convince him some other way.” Claire leaves the room, but Amber as well, leaving Alex alone in this completely foreign room, in this foreign house and environment. He’s unsure what will happen to him if he refuses longer, nor is he sure if he’ll survive. All he does is sit in silence, waiting for someone to return. However, time goes by, with no one returning, leaving him in silence and solitary, for hours and hours, until…

“Seems you’re like a dog looking at his food container, little one… have you considered our proposition in our absence?” Claire returns, now in a dress and heels. “You do not need to worry about your rights or body rights being given to us, they’ll still belong to you. You want us to take care of you, don’t you?”

“I… won’t answer that, but I um… I wouldn’t pay to live here?”

“No, you won’t just agree to be our ‘special guest’, and you’ll live in peace here, and you will have your own bed, your own room, fresh meals, people to talk to… what do you say, Alex? Do we have a deal?” Claire is looking at him with gentle eyes, trying to get into his heart.

“O-Okay… fine, I agree. I’ll stay here with you.” His mind is floating with questions and anxiety of what he just agreed to, whether or not he’s just given his life away to these two people, unsure if there’s even more of them here.

“Good choice, Alex. Welcome to your new life, your new life as our guest.” She pets him softly and he feels something go into his arm, and soon… blackness surrounds him, and he falls asleep.

Thank you for reading this far!

This is my first time writing something like this, and I wanted to keep it simple to gauge the response, so any reviews and suggestions for how to do this are really appreciated, and if there’s enough of an interest to continue this, I will. Thanks again 🙂
