Lara Croft panted heavily as she ducked her head to avoid getting punched in the face by her opponent, sidestepping and delivering her own punch to the other woman’s ribs, which only got a hiss of anger in response. She had a couple of bruises from the fight. She never wondered that she would get into an actual fight with the one and only Sonya Blade. The blonde was one of the greatest fighters in the world and Lara was still shocked to discover herself in her current predicament.

Sonya’s pretty much in the same state as Lara. She blocked another punch, smirking before landing a hit to the other woman’s back, then her eyes widened when Lara suddenly nearly kicked her feet out from under her. Sonya backflipped to get away so that she wouldn’t be knocked on her ass. She had a feeling this fight was gonna be worth her time and she was right.

“I heard you were a good fighter, Lara. And I was right. Are you still going to hold up your end of the bet if you lose?” Sonya asked, her smirk being replaced by a soft smile and a light blush on her gorgeous face. That was pretty much the reason why they were fighting in the first place; it was over a bet.

“Yes, I will. I am a woman of my word, after all. I hope that you will do the same if you lose instead.” Lara replied, smiling as well and blushing too. Sonya’s the person who made the bet, so Lara figured that she should be the one to lose their fight anyway.

Their fight continued for another hour, the two women exchanging blows, each one leaving a mark or a bruise on them. Both were breathing hard and close to falling on their asses, but they knew they had to keep fighting until one of them had won.

Lara saw the oncoming hit from a mile and a half away, so she immediately ducked, she curled fingers into a fist even though her hand was slightly bleeding and hurting, pulling her arm back and punching Sonya so fucking hard in her stomach that the air was knocked right of the blonde’s lungs, sending her onto her ass several feet away from her. Seconds later, she got back up with another smirk, Lara growled angrily, rushing over into her, to get kicked in the face and falling on her ass as well.

Sonya squinted at her, then she fell back to the ground, clutching her stomach while groaning in pain. She hadn’t been hit that hard in a very long time. The fight ended up being better than she had originally wondered it would be. She looked over to Lara to see her staring at her, but was surprised that she passed out a minute later. Sonya did too not long afterward.

Lara’s eyes shot open when she heard a continuous beeping noise coming from her left side. She carefully turned her head to see what it was and she nearly gasped. She was in the hospital. Or at least that’s what it looked like to her. Lara soon realized that she and Sonya must have been brought there after their fight had ended.

“You’re finally awake, Ms. Croft. I mean Lara. I’m glad that you’re okay. Don’t worry about your injuries, you’ll be more than okay. Hell, we both will be. Your people picked us up and took us to one of the hospitals that your family owns. They have a new medication which will help us heal faster than we would normally.” Sonya stated, hoping that Lara didn’t hate her. That’s the last thing she ever wanted. Actually, she really liked the incredibly gorgeous British woman laying in a hospital not that far from where she was.

“I see. Thank you. I did call ahead just in case either of us had ended up in bad shape and that seems to be what happened. I’m happy to see you are alright. And about that bet? I think it was a draw. If you want, we can still do it.” Lara replied, blushing and sitting up in the bed while Sonya nodded, getting up from her own bed and slowly walking over to her.

Sonya stood right next to Lara’s bed, smiling at her for what felt like the millionth time that night. She bent over, reaching a hand to gently caress her face. She leaned down to connect their lips in a breathtaking kiss. The kiss soon turned passionate, their tongues became a part of the mix as well.

Lara slipped her hands around Sonya’s waist, pulling her onto the bed and on top of her. The blonde quickly straddled her, causing her to moan sweetly into her mouth. She couldn’t wait to see how the rest of her evening with the other woman would turn out.
