Our daughter Amy (19) came home from school over New Years break.

She came home, as many college-goers do, with a mountain of laundry. After everyone goes to bed I stay up late watching tv and folding clothes as they come out of the dryer. Everyone gets their pile in the morning.

I woke up early and put on the coffee. I was watching the news when Amy came down. She grabbed a cup and chatted with me for a bit. She had plans with friends so she went upstairs to shower and get ready.

The wildest part was her reaction. She didn’t yell and dive under a blanket or throw a pillow at me as she screamed ‘GET OUT.’ She pulled the phone away from her ear and asked me, “What’s up?”

I tried to hide my amazement as I explained the underwear snafu. I tossed her the panties. She smiled, said thanks, and returned to her phone conversation.

I went straight back to my room, stripped, and jumped in the shower. It took no time for me to blow my load all over the tub.
