Teachers are so annoying! : Scary Stories – Short Horror Story

I’m at the end of my rope; I can’t tolerate Ms. Sadoni’s near-constant breakdowns.

The students of Craig High have been causing pure chaos ever since the new art teacher arrived. One day Mr. Beck was teaching us how to paint a fruit bowl, the next he was gone.

Long story short; Leahs mom, a ghoul, Mr. Beck, not willing to up Leah’s grades.

Did I say that my school isn’t normal? Craig High School is a strange place. The students here aren’t exactly,

human.

In fact, the only humans you can find at Craig High School are in the cafeteria, if you get what I mean.

You won’t find CHS anywhere naturally, but if you somehow break the barrier, you’ll come to regret it.

Ms. Sadoni? One of the unfortunates bearing the weight of regret.

I said the only humans you’ll find here are in the cafeteria; that’s not really true. Ms. Sadoni is human…

mostly.

You can find humans in the cafeteria. But live humans are a delicacy. Despite that, Ms. Sadoni is insufferable.

Five times this week, she’s been lunged at.

Punishment for that, an appetite-killing lunch with the principal, only makes the students more feral.

Worst part is she’s relentless.

It would be easier if she just quit, but no; she will dangle that filet mignon in front of a pride of hungry hyenas. A fake smile is constantly etched onto her face, she teaches her lessons, trying to get through without a diversion.

Although a bunch of deranged teens are constantly trying to make a buffet out of her, she never strays from the syllabus. Taking moments to sob, LOUDLY, as we all retreat at the sound of her ear-piercing screeches.

She is falling apart. Before the start of each class, her panicked heartbeat echoes through the halls. Students sense it, the fear, and it only more triggers their instinct.

After the time Frankie bit the tip of her thumb off, she really started to lose it. After a trip to the nurse, again making a spectacle out of sobbing in front of irritated high school students, she was back. Finger wrapped up in medical gauze, reminding me of a delicious little kolache. Not bothering to hide her sniffling. My stomach growled. I love kolaches.

When the release bell rings, I wipe my face on my sleeve and step over Ms. Sadoni’s body.

Being honest, this is the issue; this was getting old. It was routine at this point, no delicacy.

And her smile kind of creeps me out.

Not to gripe, but if you’re going to curse someone, I find it a little crazy you’re not going to curse them to taste like steak. Immortality is a sham!

I have to rid my creeps by having what’s gone from an occasional feast to an ‘ol reliable snack.

What will I do? This is so annoying! It’s like she’s trying to torment the very nature of a monster!

Throw me a bone here! Preferably not my art teachers. I’ve had that twice this week!
