My father was one of those former military men who ran his life like he was still in the military. Breakfast would always be at half seven every morning and if you slept in then you wouldn’t get food until dinner time.

I was a bit of a rebellious teen which infuriated him as I would always break his rules. My mother got me the latest videogame console at the time and I was so overjoyed as I had desperately wanted one.

The problem was that my father told me that I was not allowed to play it after nine, as he had a strict no electronics rule at night. He always expected me to do chores when I got home and then I would have to do my homework. I don’t think I played it more than half a dozen times in the few months I had it. I came home one day to find he had thrown it out as he claims I never play it.

This was many years ago but it still irks me to this day. Recently he has been forced to move in with me due to health issues. It has been one of the worst experiences of my life as he keeps claiming that I need to followhis rules.

I started thinking of his stupid electronics rule and an idea for payback popped into my head. I used my taser on him and then watched him collapse to the ground. I used a knife to cut off his insulin pump and then dragged him to his bedroom. I hear him pleading with me to give him back his pump, and take great joy in reminding him it is past nine.
