I always thought that 1+0 had equaled 2 but recently I have come to realise that 1+1 had actually equaled to 2. I couldn’t accept it because I had always lived my life to the rule 1+0 equaling to 2. I mean I had always told people that I had two kids because when I had the first one, that was 1. The second child I had purposely given away to death in the woods to eat, so that made it to 2 children because 1+0 equaled 2. Then someone told me that 1+1 always equalled to 2 and I became enraged then that mean my other child had died.

Another time when a party invitation had said we could only come in pairs of 2, I had killed my friend because 1+0 equaled to 2. I am always the 1 and the other things or person is 0 and that would always equal to 2. This form of math made sense to me and I had always lived accordingly toward it, and when I went up to the party security guard the asked me where my number 2 was because I told the person who had organised the party that I was bringing 2 people.

I explained my logic to the security guards and they told me that I was incorrect, and 1+1 always equaled to 2. I became furious and the security guard were telling me to calm down and I couldn’t calm down. I kept saying that 1+0 equaled to 2 and that for that to work in real life, one must always be taken out of existence. My logic was clear and it was they the security that didn’t understand what I was trying to say and it made perfect sense. I kept saying that 1+0 equalled to 2 while the security guards had shouted back that 1+1 always equaled to 2.

I started to tremble as I started to feel that I maybe wrong and all my life I had lived by the rule that 1+0 equaled to 2. When I ever I had two of anything I would destroy the other thing to make it 0 and thus 1+0 equaled 2. When I had two houses I destroyed one of them while people were still living inside and I told people that I had two houses. I have two hands by chopping off one hand, I had two eyes by chopping off one eye, I had two feet by chopping off 1 feet but now 1+0 equalling to 2 doesn’t make sense anymore.
