Maybe I am crazy after all.

*Of course not! It’s just a response to the treatment.

Hm. Well, you’re not real. So. You know. I don’t exactly trust your judgement on the matter.

*Wouldn’t that mean you should trust me more? Who better to say if you’re crazy than the voice in your head?

Really? You don’t think that’s like, confirmation bias or something? Also, who hears voices after just a week? I just don’t think I’m suited to this treatment style. It feel like I’ve been in here an eternity. I have an imaginary friend for God’s sake! I mean, I had a LOT of issues before I came in, but I wasn’t that loopy. No offense.

*No no, none taken. But, tear you down to build you up, right? I’d say it’s working. Just power through. Not like you have a choice hahahahaha

The search continues for Marion Stevens, the last NuLife patient yet to be located. Dr Andrew Koultuer held a press conference from his prison cell early this afternoon, stating: “While the NuLife methodology was unorthodox, the ultimate goal was to help others, and no NuLife patient was ever treated with anything but respect and care for their mental state”. This statement has received much criticism from previous NuLife patients, many of whom are still undergoing long term treatment related to the conditions they endured at the NuLife treatment center.

These people are addicts. They’ve tried everything to break the cycle, and I am their last hope. I know that our process seems frightening to you, but I must break them down to build-

Save it doc. Court’s already ruled. So bring every patient, and I do mean every last patient, out of this hospital. How many floors are there?

Hello Ms Stevens, and welcome to NuLife! Now I see you completed the packet, but let me just give you a little orientation.

Dr. Koultuer started this facility 2 years ago to help those struggling with substance abuse to be reborn, to find their new life. I must again warn you, the process is intense. The first week is spent in complete isolation. No light, no sound, and no human contact. Meals are delivered automatically with no human interaction. This breaks down a patients’ mental barriers, and allows for a highly effective period of intense behavioral therapy. Do you still wish to pursue this treatment? Yes? Then I’ll show you to your room. Oh dear, our last room on floor 3 just filled. Well… lucky you! You’ll be the very first patient at our sister site!

Oh, don’t you worry love. I promise you’ll come out of this a whole new woman.
