Deep down in the dark

Deep down in the deep dark

I fell and felt it crawling over me

The blotchy pus, the silent stain

Sapping me of my freedom

Relieving me of my light

And I became Him

He who gave the twisted grin

The crooked smile

So gleeful in destruction

So delighted by death

"Shhh" it seemed to say

"It will all be over soon

But you are one of us now

And I have plans for you."

I looked at him and asked

"What is it that We do?"

"We are the Void." He said
